Godbold has also registered himself as a player for the rest of the season as cover following the departure of Jordan King and Matthew Cook to Norwich CBS and Yelverton respectively. Chairman Lee Robson commented “Obviously, we want to finish as high up the table as possible but we have more than one eye on next season. If we can keep the players together, keep developing our younger players and add a bit of quality then we have something promising to work with. Not sure how Jamie fits in with the youth policy but he’s one of the best finishers we have in training by all accounts. Mostly his own. πŸ™‚

Matty and Jordan Jordan have gone with our best wishes and we wish them all the best at their new clubs. Kingy in particualr has been with the club for number of years and it is sad to see him go. I haven’t known him long but I can’t speak highly enough of him. He’ll be real asset to CBS, worked extremely hard with our reserves as he was recovering and is an intelligent, all round good bloke! We’ll miss him.”
